Its building was built with the financial cooperation of the people and the government. Finally, the construction of the main building of it took four years and the expectations for its opening ended on October 4, 1972. Famous Tabriz architect, Haj Abu Aghasem, made the building of it.

Ground Floor

In this floor there are historical artifacts and objects from pre-Islam era. Basement

In this floor, there are sculptures that beautifully depict the story of human life from ancient times to the present. These valuable sculptures are made by the famous Tabrizi artist Ahad Hosseini. The newest part of the museum, is its lithographs. Lithographs and inscriptions from different historical periods are kept in this floor.
