But as we mentioned before, Jahan Nama Garden is the oldest garden in Shiraz and had been built and developed before other gardens in this city. Jahan Nema Garden, like other Iranian gardens inspired by the Persian Garden of Pasargadae during the Achaemenid period, which is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Shiraz. Jahan Nama Garden is also known as “Zinat al-Dunya” and it was extremely glorious and prosperous before the invasion of Timur Gurakani and during the time of Al-Muzaffar. The Zandi and Safavid eras were considered the glorious era of the Jahan Nama Garden, and many famous tourists and historians have praised this garden, tourists such as Edward Brown, Chardin, Tavernier and John Malkum. The flowing and life-giving water which flows through streams and fountains of the Jahan Nama Garden, is known as Roknabad, which Hafez Shirazi has mentioned it in his poems. The beauty of Jahan Nama Garden lasted until the Safavid period, but after this period, due to the various insecurities of the country, Jahan Nama Garden ruined completely. In 1771 ah Karim Khan Zand, renovated Jahan Nama Garden by fencing around the garden, building a mansion in the middle of it, building a street around the garden and planting trees in it and left this great relic for us today. After Zand era, Jahan Nama Garden was once again considered by the Qajar government. During the Qajar period, the mansion in the middle of the garden was used as a place for government parties. Finally, in 2004, the Jahan Nama Garden was reconstructed and put into operation by the Municipality Organization and the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage of Fars Province.

In Jahan Nama Garden, a variety of cypress trees, fruit trees, citrus trees, old pine, orange and rose, violet and chrysanthemum flowers can be seen that have created a spectacular atmosphere.
